Sustainability
Aluminum extrusions contain 80-85% recycled aluminum; 43% is post-consumer content. Southern Aluminum products are recyclable. All aluminum components are smooth finish high strength alloy 6063-T6 extrusions unless otherwise noted.
Table Substrate
All top surfaces are .080” thick with integral stiffener ribs and have 1½” profile edge. Table tops will not crack or warp after extended usage or exposure to heat, moisture or sunlight. Tables have permanent scratchproof stacking bumpers attached underneath the tops to prevent damage. Tables will withstand a drop squarely on edges/corners from a height of 24” at any temperature without splitting apart, cracking, or creating sharp corners. Tables will not emit toxic fumes, gases or smoke in high temperatures related to a fire (passes California Fire Code 133). Rectangular top end caps are heavy gauge and have high impact cast corner inserts, which will absorb abuse from frequent setup and take down. Round top table perimeter utilizes an aluminum anodized band capable of withstanding frequent usage. LuxPad™ products have a Lifetime Guarantee – for as long as you own them!
Table Surface
LuxPad™ tabletops have substructure of round or rectangular tops as described above. LuxPad™ top surface is vinyl padded with 3/8” resilient foam. Top has 3/8” recessed edge for comfort.
Legs
All legs are welded together for strength and then attached to the table with zinc-plated bolts and nuts. All leg styles, except adjustable H, are a standard 29” height. Mineral Bronze powder-coat paint is applied for finishing.
Wishbone Leg Style
Wishbone folding legs are 16-gauge heat-treated aluminum 1 1/4” diameter shaped into the wishbone pattern for maximum legroom.
H & Roman II Leg Styles
The H and Roman II folding legs are 1½” square aluminum for additional strength.
Individual Folding Leg Style
The individual folding legs are 1½” square aluminum with .065” wall thickness. These legs are standard on the 48” round and quarter round tables.
Pedestal Base
Scissor Pedestal legs are constructed of 1½” square tubing with a .125” wall. Legs use 6063-T6 heat-treated aluminum. Scissor Pedestal is available in 30” and 42” height or an adjustable height (30” - 42”).
KnockDown Pedestal’s four-leg base is constructed polished aluminum with installed floor guides. Base is 3.25” high and 28” wide with a 1.75” center core for column post. Column post is stainless steel and is 26” high and 38 5/8” high.
Load Capacity
Alulite Tables® will support up to 3,000 lbs. of distributed weight. MardiGras Tables® will support up to 2,000 lbs. of distributed weight. All aluminum leg styles are tested to exceed 2,000 lbs. of direct weight on each leg.
Care and Maintenance
Do not drag or mishandle table along rough surface as it will damage or scratch finish. Clean with mild soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Non-abrasive household cleaners can be used on stains.
