Sustainability
Aluminum extrusions contain 50% recycled aluminum; 30% is post-consumer content and 20% is pre-consumer content. Southern Aluminum products are recyclable. All aluminum components are smooth finish high strength alloy 6063-T6 extrusions unless otherwise noted.
Table Tops
Alulite Tables® top surfaces are .080” thick with primary stiffener ribs and have 1½” flat edge with heavy gauge end caps. MardiGras Tables® tops are .065” thick with integral stiffener ribs and have a 1” profile edge and have heavy-duty end caps to absorb abuse. All table tops are constructed of individual aluminum boards bolted together and have longitudinal seams. Table tops will not crack or warp after extended usage or exposure to heat, moisture or sunlight. Tables have permanent scratch-proof stacking bumpers attached to the legs to prevent damage when stacking. Table corners will withstand a drop squarely on edges/corners from a height of 24” at any temperature without splitting apart, cracking, or creating sharp corners. Tables will not emit toxic fumes, gases or smoke in high temperatures related to a fire (passes California Fire Code 133).
Swirl Finish
Anodized aluminum features a randomly sanded swirl pattern etched into the surface. Two clear powder-coat finishes protect the table.
Folding Legs
All legs are aluminum and welded together for strength, then attached to the table with zinc-plated bolts and nuts. All leg styles, except adjustable H, are a standard 29.75” height. Legs will never rust. Powder-coat paint in Matte Black color is applied for finishing.
H & Roman II Leg Styles
The H and Roman II folding legs are 1½” square aluminum with .065” wall thickness for additional strength.
Load Capacity
Alulite Tables® tops will support up to 3,000 lbs. of distributed weight. MardiGras Tables® will support up to 2,000 lbs. of distributed weight. All aluminum leg styles are tested to exceed 2,000 lbs. of direct weight on each leg.
Care and Maintenance
The swirl finish is delicate in nature in will be compromised if not handled with appropriate care. The surface finish is sealed with clear coating to aid in protection, but inappropriate handling of this product will remove the protection and the finish will be damaged. Regular use of Pledge® on Swirl tables enhances the shine and reduces scuff marks.
